Platforms your applications plug into

Payments, messaging and sign-in through one API each, run by Kweepa so that you do not have to.

Malipo payments API

One API for M-Pesa, Airtel Money and card payments, refunds and payouts, with signed webhooks.

Malipo is Kweepa's payments server. Your application asks it for a payment, a refund or a payout, by M-Pesa, Airtel Money or card, and hears by signed webhook how it went, without holding a Daraja, Airtel or Jenga credential of its own.

  • M-Pesa, Airtel Money and cards
  • Hosted checkout pages
  • Test mode with a simulator

Bonga chat API

Direct and group chat, files and live delivery for any web or mobile app, through one API.

Bonga is Kweepa's chat server. Your application keeps its own users and its own sign-in, and Bonga gives them direct and group conversations, files, receipts and presence, delivered live over a WebSocket and told to your server by webhook.

  • Direct and group conversations
  • Live over a WebSocket
  • Webhooks for push notifications

Kweepa Identity

Sign-in, sign-up and single sign-on for your applications, through OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

Kweepa Identity is Kweepa's sign-in server, and your applications can use it too: people sign up and sign in with one account, by password or one-time code, with a second step where you ask for it, and your API reads their roles from the token.

  • OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
  • One-time codes and authenticator apps
  • Roles and permissions in the token

How we work

Every project runs the same way

  1. Discover

We sit with the people who do the work and map what happens today: the forms, the approvals, the workarounds.

  2. Design

Screens and a plan you can see and change, before any code is written, with a price for each stage.

  3. Build

Working software every few weeks, tried by your team as it lands, with your data migrated alongside.

  4. Launch

Training on site, the switch made when you are ready, and the old system kept until the first month end is through.

  5. Support

Monitoring, backups and updates, and a person to call. Systems grow as the business does.
